The Suitcase Junket

Musician, Matt Lorenz.  Two Words: Spectacularly Talented.

I recently embarked upon a mini-road trip to Madison, WI, on a whim, to see Matt Lorenz perform.  And I was not disappointed.  He and his girlfriend AND their dog were in the middle of a two-month whirl-wind US tour when we caught up with them.  Matt is a one-man band, bringing serious originality to the stage with his guitar, suitcase kick-drum, 1 cymbal, and truly inspired throat-singing.  Yep, you heard me right... a modern day folk throat-singer.  The performance of his moody, fun songs was wonderfully raw and intimate.
